It is a great feeling knowing that you have helped out a client. While financial planning can be very technical, it is still essentially about people, and having a passion for helping people is paramount.
Cameron has been a financial planner since 1992 working in various organisations throughout North West NSW. Prior to joining StatePlus in 2007 as Regional Manager, Tamworth, he worked with an accountancy firm where he started up the successful financial planning arm of the business.
With extensive experience across all facets of financial planning, Cameron brings a strong track record in providing quality financial advice to a wide range of clients and financial situations. He is a strong advocate of ongoing professional development and, as Regional Manager, ensures his team undertakes regular training and study to remain at the forefront of industry knowledge.
Cameron has been married to Bronwyn since 1997 and is the proud father of two sons. He enjoys playing guitar and listening to good music, most sport spending time with family and friends and reading a good book. A true local, Cameron grew up and attended school in Quirindi and at Farrer High School in Tamworth. He spent a few years in Sydney after finishing his schooling, and also lived in Inverell before moving back to Tamworth in 1997.
