Nigel has worked in financial services since 2008. He started his career with one of Australia's pre-eminent tax accounting firms and was a Commercial Banker with a major Australian bank prior to joining StatePlus.
With excellent knowledge of defined benefit schemes and superannuation rules, Nigel combines a strong technical base with a focus on understanding the needs of each client. He is experienced in advising on a range of financial planning issues including retirement planning and wealth accumulation strategies.
Originally from Perth, Nigel moved to Sydney in 1994. Recently reluctantly retired from the tennis court he is a Roger Federer fanatic and a loyal member of the Sydney Swans. His spare time is occupied with his dogs, attending Sydney Symphony performances, learning about Indigenous Australian culture through Bangarra Dance Theatre and enjoying the ever-changing Sydney restaurant scene.
