Bushfire assistance

Supporting Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery
StatePlus employees are donating generously to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery. If you’d like to support our efforts, you can make a donation to the Australian Red Cross.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to our members and clients who worked relentlessly in response to the bushfire crisis across Australia.
First State Super has partnered with the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) to offer pro-bono financial advice services at no additional cost for StatePlus clients and members aged 55 and over, who have been impacted financially by the recent Australian bushfires.
If you are an existing client of Stateplus who is aged 55 and over and have been impacted financially by the bushfires, we also encourage you to engage with your StatePlus planner, for which there is no additional cost.
Applications for pro bono financial advice close on 30 April 2020.
As part of this initiative, we can provide pre-retirement and retirement advice on topics such as:
- accessing Centrelink payments and other benefits
- making insurance claims
- accessing superannuation
- debt management
- replacing lost income, and
- helping people financially rebuild and plan for the future after the bushfires.
For more information or to check your eligibility to book an appointment for pro-bono advice, please call us on 1800 620 305 (Monday – Friday 8:15am – 8:15pm).
